Aspired Education put on the dance and DJ sessions for local children so they could try activities that unleash their creative side. The sessions helped to build confidence, focus on school and helped with tackling working cohesion among the residents in the Cars area. This all helped us hit one of our targets with keeping young children active.
The course ended with an awards evening where the young people who took part invited their family and friends to see them showcase their new skills. There is nothing better for a child than performing something they are passionate about in front of a parent. The project was a massive success and Aspired Education are now looking to apply for further funding from the Big Local to continue the course.
